A new Science Fiction Young Adult ebook series for all ages.
A universe 350 years in our future. A tale spanning 1,000 years. Five teens, lost in space on a living starship. (Sigma Bootis.)
See what's inside the Sampson K. Perry.
Cold and lonely Ice House is located at Sigma Bootis. If not for the presence of a breathable atmosphere, this planet would have been easily bypassed by early colonial explorers. Founded less than fifty years prior to the start of "The First Human War," Ice House is the furthest outpost of the human race. This star system is also the location of the Battle of Sigma Bootis, fought in 2353 by an outnumbered fleet commanded by Commodore Erin Campbell. This marks the true frontier of the Ten Colonies and little is known beyond the fringes of this system. Ice House is the second planet out from Sigma Bootis.
Sigma Bootis is a Main Sequence star, but is at the hot, outer fringe of providing a suitable environment for a human planet. Ice House can only support life because it is so far away from its central star. Even so, it is frigid on the icy surface of appropriately named Ice House. The colony is mostly an R&D center, with less than 20,000 colonists.

Ice House is an inconspicious little world covered nearly completely with water ice. The small amounts of exposed land provide a harsh but acceptable environment for the scientists and researchers living there. Many compare living on Ice House to Antartica.
